We mourn the death and will celebrate the life of Mr. Brian Kevin Jenkins.
Brian K. Jenkins, Sr., 47, passed away on August 17, 2013 at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston, TX. Formerly of Hartford, CT, he was born in Springfield, MA. He grew up in Springfield and was a graduate of Putnam High School. After serving in the Marine Corp, Brian was employed at Hamilton Standard as a machinist. In 2005, he made his home in Houston, TX where he was employed by Target for several years. Brian was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a member of the Airport Congregation in Houston, TX. Brian was predeceased by his father, James Jenkins, Sr. He leaves to mourn his memory his mother, Mildred Jenkins of East Hartford, CT; his wife, Tamara (Rowe) Jenkins, two sons, Brian K. Jenkins, Jr. and Isaiah Rowe, and one daughter, Sophia Rowe all of Houston, TX; a brother James Jenkins, Jr. and his wife Linda Jenkins of Springfield, MA; three sisters, Gloria Blatch of Manchester, CT, Marcia Henry of Hartford, CT, and Janet Henry of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of relatives and friends. There will be a private funeral service with no calling hours. A memorial service will be Saturday, August 24, 2013, 2pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 913 Lemm Road 1, Spring TX 77373.
