Daisy Lee Marshall was born on April 9, 1935 in Newton, TX to the late William Marshall and Viola McGuire Marshall.
Daisy migrated to Buffalo, NY with her parents and siblings in 1900's. She attended primary public school #6 and graduated from Fosdick-Masten Vocational High School.
At the age of 17 years old, Daisy was employed at Lou Dudrop grocery store, then in 1971, she was hired at General Mills where she retired in 1994 after 23 1/2 years of service as a Shift Supervisor. After retiring, Daisy volunteered in the Gift Shop at the Deaconess Center Nursing Home on Humboldt Pkwy, which relocated and changed name to High Pointe on Michigan Ave. from 2000 -2019. She was also an active member of High Pointe Women's Board.
In December 2023, she relocated to Manvel, TX to live with her niece Janet and her husband Philip.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and 3 sisters (Otha Dunlop, Doretha Loeb and Katie Sparks); and 7 brothers (Willie Henry, James, Homer, Milton, Frank, Robert, and Edward).
While under Hospice care, Daisy was blessed with a special angel; Cortney Kirk as her daily aide/adopted niece.
She departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2025 in Manvel, TX and leaves to cherish her memories, two godchildren: Antoinette Stewart of New York, NY and Viola Green of Buffalo, NY; one adopted in love daughter; Cassandra Adkins of Buffalo, NY; one loving sister; Mildred Stewart of New York, NY; two Sisters in Law; Janie (late Edward) Marshall of Buffalo, NY and Vera (late Frank) Marshall of Devers, TX; four very close friends; Gladys Moore, Barbara Jones, Gladys Turner, Lillian Williams all of Buffalo, New York. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
