With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Darrell Miles Sr, 69, of Houston, Texas, on April 25, 2024. Darrell was a friend to every person he met. He was the love of his wife's life and her soul mate, plus a terrific Dad, brother, and grandfather. Darrell led an extraordinary life, as evidenced by all those who knew his kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious smile. He will be deeply missed and remembered for the true love he had for all his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Miles, and three children, Nicole Miles, Darrell Miles Jr and Jana Miles; his grandchild Zoey Gill; and his two remaining sisters, Emma Wheeler, and brother-in-law, Jack Wheeler and Sandra West, as well as numerous other relatives.

Darrell was Karen's rock, confidant and best friend throughout their 50 years together. "Happy wife, happy life" wasn't a saying to Darrell. It was his way of loving Karen. In reflection, Karen noted his love, support, and encouragement inspired her to be her best self.

His life will be celebrated at Allen Dave Funeral Home located at 2103 Cypress Landing Drive in Houston, Texas, with a viewing at 1:00 p.m. followed by a service at 1:30 p.m.
