On Wednesday August 19, 1953, the fifth and first girl was born to James and Oreatha Lloyd
in Tenaha Texas. They named her Janice Marie Lloyd.

Janice and her family moved from Tenaha Texas to Nacogdoches Texas where she
attended public school and was a band member in High School. She graduated from
Nacogdoches High School in 1971. She gave her life to Christ at an early age where she
was a member at Iron Wheel Baptist Church.

Janice married Calvin McGowan and to this union two daughters were born. A few years
later she decided to relocate to Houston Texas. While living in Houston she needed a
hobby, and this is when she joined a softball team.
In the mid 1980's Janice joined the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of
Richard J. Lott Sr.

In November of 2000 Janice was remarried to Michael Jacquot. She worked for Harris
Health Systems until her health started to fail so she retired August 2018.

Janice leaves to forever cherish, two daughters Shonique "shoo" (Devin) and LaNeitha
"toodie" (Joseph)both of Houston; Five grandchildren Eric, Jovondi "Joe", DeMontre "Dee",
ArMonte "Tae" and Tierra "TT"; One Great-grand Aaliyah (Granny's Liyah Doll), Seven
Brothers; Willie "Will" Lloyd (Larnita), William "Mody" Lloyd, Cliff Lloyd, Royce "Ned" Lloyd
(Dianne), John Henry Lloyd, Chris Goss (Tracey) and Farron "Fila" Fields: Six Sisters;
Cynthia "Gail" Newsome (Eddie), Cynthia "Cyn" Sharp-Jones, Rose White, Carolyn Adams,
Freda Williams, Her best friend Annie Fowler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.

Janice is proceeded in death by her parents James H. and Oreatha Lloyd and four brothers:
James "Sonny", Charlie "Bubba", Michael "Ghost" and Bruce "Pappa".
