Obituary

On August 4, 1958 in Brazos County, Bryan, Texas a baby girl was born to the union of Lorenzo (Sr.) and Sallie Hill whom they named Judy Ann. She confessed Christ and united with Galilee Baptist Church, Bryan, TX and later with Grace Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. A. O. Goins.  She later worked as financial secretary at Church of the Living God until her health failed.

She attended and graduated from Bryan High School where she met and married the love of her life, Melvin L. Wilson Sr.  They traveled the country during his career in the United States Air Force and she worked many civilian jobs in the retail industry on the various base assignments. They raised three sons, Melvin Jr., Anthony and Timothy.  She was well-known for her love of cooking and a hobby that earned many accolades as an avid bowler and coach.  She departed this life on the anniversary of her husband's death, May 7, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wilson Sr., brothers, David, Michael, Robert and Curtis Hill.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Anthony Wilson and granddaughter Gabriella Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

Grandchildren, Daija Wilson, Jaida Wilson, Ayren Wilson, Timothy Wilson, Avery Redic, Alfred Lewis, Brandi Johnson

Aunts, Margaret Toliver, Melba Wilson and Linda Dunn along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives/friends.
