Obituary

Kelly LB Howard passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022 in the afternoon at home in Baytown, Texas. Kelly was born Linda Booth to Clarence M. Booth and Verna (Nichols) Booth. She was a very energetic child with a passion for life and adventure. She loved horses and ranch life in Dixie, Elk City, White Bird and several other places such as Riggins where she earned the name Salmon River Kelly. Kelly worked and "lived on ranches out in the sticks" throughout the River of No Return territory and other parts of Central Idaho. Later in life she worked in construction and other various jobs like maintenance engineering assistant for a television studio in Hollywood. After some years she settled in Boise, Idaho near her parents. Kelly enjoyed her vast multitude of friends mostly through an anonymous group which she was active in for over 46 years. As she got "long in the tooth", Salmon River Kelly agreed to "wander down yonder" to Texas to live with her son and daughter-in-law. Kelly was preceded in death by her brother, father, step father, mother and her sister. She had one son, one granddaughter and two great grandchildren.
