In Loving Memory of Kelvin Lin Berry
December 31,1987 – April 4, 2026
Kelvin Lin Berry, age 39, of Houston, Texas, was born to Wesley Wilson and Effie Ford. He fell asleep in death on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Known for his kind and gentle disposition, Kelvin was an artistic soul who could "make something out of anything." Kelvin's hands were rarely still. He expressed his vibrant inner world through many mediums. The Artist, his vision brought creativity to life. The Chef Affectionately known by some as the "Chicken King," he brought people together through the joy of a good meal. The Barber he was a craftsman who used his skills to make others feel their best.
While his talents were many, Kelvin's most outstanding accomplishment was the love he poured into his roles as an incredible husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Kelvin's presence will be missed beyond imagination. His quiet and mild spirit, his honesty, and his kind generosity were the hallmarks of his character. He was always willing to use his talents on behalf of those he loved—qualities that undoubtedly made him precious in God's eyes. ("Do not forget to do good and to share what you have with others, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." — Hebrews 13:16)
Kelvin's legacy lives on through his devoted family: His Wife: Nastassia Berry, his partner of 17 years. His Children: Kamrun Berry, Adriana Tindle, Lyrik Berry, Qualynn Berry, Brooke Berry, and Kennedy Berry. His Mother: Effie K. Ford. His Siblings: Calvin Berry, Brandon Wilson (Meme), and Brittney Wilson (Ebony) Whitney Wilson, Nene Wilson, Wesley Wilson Jr., Hermann Wilson, Patrick Wilson along with a vast host of loved ones and dear friends who were touched by his life.
Our hearts are heavy for now, but we cling to the precious memories we were privileged to make with him. We look forward to the promise of reuniting with our dear Kelvin in Paradise. ("And he said to him: 'Truly I tell you today, you will be with me in Paradise.'" — Luke 23:43)
