Kendra Symone Cooper age 27, passed away peacefully from this life on October 26, 2022 at 4:10pm at Memorial Herman Hospital in the Woodlands. Kendra was born on April 27, 1995, to Michael and Angelia Cooper.
Kendra was a graduate of the John Cooper School in 2012 and continued her studies at Bethune- Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Kendra was amazing athlete and an outstanding basketball player.
She played at B-CU from 2013-2017, was the program's all-time three-point field goal leader with 259, a record that still stands today. Kendra also finished at the sixth all-time leading scorer with 1,302 points . After graduating college Kendra was nominated to do an internship with Nascar. She truly enjoyed life to the fullest.
She worked as a dialysis technician, and spoke often how she enjoyed her patients. Kendra had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She was loved by many.
Upon her death Kendra was surrounded by family, the amazing caregivers and a host of friends. She will genuinely be missed.
Kendra is survived by her parents Michael and Angelia Cooper and her older brother Evan Cooper and his wife Jenée of Philadelphia . Also survived by maternal grandmother Rose Johnson of Texas City, Texas and paternal grandparents Dennis and Janet Cooper of Leander, Texas. She was loved by numerous Uncles, Aunts, cousins and a host of friends.
Kendra will be missed but she will never be forgotten.
