Lynne Ann (Freeman) Gadzinski, age 71, of Richmond, TX, previously of Dorr, MI, was called to heaven on January 13, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Mary Lou Freeman; husband, Michael Gadzinski; and son, William Gadzinski.
Lynne will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Bryleigh and Jaxon Gadzinski; daughter-in-law Lauren Welch; John Farkas; stepdaughter, Jessica Gadzinski; brothers Steven (Colleen) Freeman and Jeffrey (Nita) Freeman; niece Dana (Shane) Veldheer; nephew Shawn (Sadie McKinstry) Freeman and great-niece Kinsley Freeman.

Lynne started baton twirling at the young age of six and went on to win several awards including USTA championship. In 1970 she was crowned Miss Wayland and selected Golden Girl to lead the marching band at Ferris State University. She continued to teach and judge twirling for many years.   She was Wayland High School band majorette and a 1970 graduate.

Her work history included retail management at JC Penney, Hallmark and Joann Fabrics.  She was a volunteer at Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts and when she moved to Texas, loved her time as a volunteer Gatekeeper at the Houston Rodeo.

A celebration of Lynne's life will be held in Michigan in the spring.
