Obituary

Michael "Misha" Tony Byram was born November 25,1964 to Wesley Edward Byram and Martha Lou Byram in Palestine, Texas.
Misha was very intelligent and determined. He graduated valedictorian from the Texas School for the Deaf in 1984 and went on to study at Gallaudet University, eventually graduating from University of Texas with a marketing degree.
Misha was a flowerchild of the 60s and loved everything about the era. He was particularly fascinated with cars, especially oddly shaped ones. He's widely known for his love of music—rock, country, religious, and of course anything from the '60s. Anything out of the ordinary was a delight to him.
He saw the changing world, felt deeply about politics and world news, believed in striving to make important changes, believed in using one's imagination, and expanding one's thoughts and finding beauty. He appreciated life in all its intricate designs.
Misha had a great sense of humor. He was bursting with energy and laughter. He looked at people with love and pride, always making them feel very important to him. He was very involved with the Deaf community in Tyler, Texas, and is beloved by his many friends.
Misha simply enjoyed life, regardless of the challenges it presented him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Gail Byram.
Misha is survived by his wife Ina Heuermann Byram and son Michael Tony Byram II, as well as his sister Vicki Lynn Henderson and her husband Larry and their three daughters, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jamie.
Misha died May 27, 2021 due to complications from liver failure. He is dearly missed.
