With heavy hearts, the family of Shelby Alexander Davis announces his passing due to natural causes while surrounded by his family's love on January 29, 2025.

Shelby had a fierce love for his family. He will always be remembered for his fondness of animals and saltwater fish, for the joy he found in family vacations in the hill country, and the peace he experienced when fishing in the Guadalupe River. His smile was contagious, his sense of humor unforgettable, and his presences at midnight Whataburger runs will be greatly missed. Shelby was a true warrior and embodied deep resilience and strength in the face of adversity while trying to "break on through to the other side."

Shelby is survived by his immediate and extended family and is preceded in death by his loving grandparents. A private family service will be held later this year to celebrate his life.
