Stevie Earl Nash, 61, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on February 29th, 2024.

Stevie was born to Faye Nash and Samuel Johnson in March of 1962. Stevie was a hard worker who dedicated 38 years of service to American International Group until he retired to dedicate more time to family. Stevie grew up in the Heights and was baptized at an early age at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. He was a family man, a hard worker, and a good friend to many.

Stevie was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing basketball in high school and watching college and professional. Stevie enjoyed the little things in life like talking to friends on the phone, enjoying a beer while watching Saturday Night Boxing, or playing with the family dog.

Stevie is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gena Nash, his two children Tiffany (28) and Stevie Jr. (24), and his dog Honey (Ladybird). He also leaves behind his sister, Gwendolyn Nash, two nephews, Jarrett and JaColby Marshall, his aunt Jannie Buchanan, and 7 brothers Ted, Edwin, Sam Jr., Clay, Owen, Bill, Gerald, and a host of other family and friends.
