On October 2nd, 1939, Willie Lee was born to Dewey Lee and Bennie L. Wright of Columbus, Texas.

Willie attended T.L. Pink High School, where he graduated class of 1958. He went on to serve in the United States Army.

On July 9th, 2022, Willie Lee transitioned from Earth to Glory. Preceding him in death; father, Dewey Lee, mother, Bennie L. Wright, brothers Andrew (Sonny) Lee, and Alfred (Big Man) Lee.

He leaves the memories of his life to be cherished by his children; Shana Hamilton (Delford Hamilton), Willie Matthi Lee, Sharla Henderson (Kenny Dosunmu), Gary Henderson and Troy Henderson (Crystal Henderson). Honorary children Donald Long, Janet Long and Geneva Long; as well as Bobby Martin.

Willie Lee also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends he made along the course of his life.
